Well what can you do when your opponent plays like that? Absolute dominance from Iga Swiatek and she will be well rested for Saturday's final after racing through that.

A sixth Grand Slam final appearance and, ominously, she has won every other one she has played in.

    Swiatek 6-2 6-0 Bencic

    Iga Swiatek has done it!

The five-time Grand Slam champion is through to her first Wimbledon final and what a way to do it - hitting a backhanded winner to seal the victory.

The Pole was imperious there, giving up just two games in a little over 74 minutes.

She'll face Amanda Anisimova in Saturday's final.

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

I predicted Swiatek to win in two before the match and it looks like we're going that way. When I was comparing the statistics there was just way too much of a gulf between the two players.

  8. Swiatek holdspublished at 18:01 British Summer Time 10 July

That's as comfortable a service game as Iga Swiatek has had all afternoon.

The Pole holds to love, leaving Belinda Bencic on the grass as she hits the game point.

The Swiss will serve to stay in this match next.

I like that Iga Swiatek stuck with her team after difficult results. There were questions about that but she bought into it and now it's paying off.

Quite often when you don't get good results players get rid of their coach but Iga is taking responsibility for herself.

After saving one break point, Belinda Bencic double faults to give Iga Swiatek another.

The Pole makes no mistake this time, ripping a forehand down the line that Bencic can't return.

It's a long way back for the Swiss now.

Iga Swiatek is playing some statement-making tennis here. The serve is strong and she's winning some superbly constructed points. Belinda Bencic has not done a great deal wrong through but Swiatek, at the moment, is playing on another level.

Simple as you like for Iga Swiatek, who holds to 15 and finishes with an ace.

There's just no weakness in her game right now. She's hitting so cleanly from both sides.

You can imagine from Bencic's perspective she is feeling a bit embarrassed out here because she's being thumped at the moment and she's struggling to get points back-to-back.

    Ruthless stuff from Iga Swiatek.

Belinda Bencic has to try to play faster because we're just watching Iga Swiatek preparing herself for every single shot especially on that forehand side.

Swiatek can barely miss a ball, she's absolutely on everything and she has an incredible percentage even on a return of serve on grass.

Usually you can miss one or two returns when the serve is very accurate or very speedy, she has put 94 percent of return in play.

As well as Bencic has played, Swiatek has attacked at every opportunity and not allowed any breathing space.

I'm sure Bencic is wondering what she can do to change this.

British duo Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool are through to the final of the men's doubles.
