The 19-year-old beat Novak Djokovic to win his first ATP title at the Miami Open in March and is ranked at number 17 in the world.
Mensik is yet to make much of a splash during any of his six Grand Slam appearances - reaching the third round on three occasions - but there is plenty to like about the Czech.
