A little bit of a wobble happening here for Iga Swiatek...

I think a lot of that has been brought on by the pressure that Elina Svitolina is bringing in this second set quite early on. She is forcing a little bit of doubt once again.

Svitolina has beaten Swiatek once before. At Wimbledon two years ago. She needed three sets to do it that time.

She has a bit of hope at 0-30 after a couple of errors from the Pole.

Getting that first game on the board was really crucial. That's a brilliant start to lay down the marker to Iga Swiatek.

Elina Svitolina has already equalled the same amount of games as she got in the first set, which will be a bit of a boost to her. She can wipe the slate clean and get rid of some of that frustration and irritation.

She is still here to fight and she is still in it psychologically.

    Svitolina 1-6 1-0 Swiatek*

It's blowing a bit of a gale on Court Philippe-Chatrier and Swiatek looks to the skies before beginning her service game. I don't think that's going to stop it.

She doesn't seem too fazed by it as she gets out to 30-0 but Svitolina works her way into the game to draw level.

  8. 'Svitolina still isn't a big ball striker'published at 13:23 British Summer Time 3 June

    *Svitolina 1-6 0-0 Swiatek

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2 and BBC Sounds

Elina Svitolina has really tried to push herself out of her comfort zone from being a passive-type player, and we can see evidence of that.

We are seeing a lot more pace on the ball from her nowadays, but she still isn't a big ball striker. She can do it when she gets on the front foot, but she hasn't naturally got that pace and power.

    *Svitolina 1-6 0-0 Swiatek

Svitolina begins set two with some solid serving and it seems like she's trying to up the tempo after a slow-paced first set.

But some aggressive hitting from Swiatek takes us from 40-15 to deuce.

  10. 'Everything is coming thick and fast at Svitolina'published at 13:19 British Summer Time 3 June

Every game seems to have been hard-fought up until now. There have been lots of long deuces - it has been nip and tuck.

All the games could have gone either way but Elina Svitolina finds herself a set down. There's no wonder she is showing her frustration and irritation.

It feels like it is just relentless at the moment, coming out of Iga Swiatek's racquet. Everything is coming thick and fast at Svitolina, so there isn't much time for her to react.

  11. Game and first set - Swiatekpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 3 June

    Svitolina 1-6 Swiatek

Swaitek takes the set at the first opportunity but that was a lengthy set and a lot tougher than the scoreline suggests.

Nonetheless it's Swiatek who takes the lead in the quarter-final and she's one set away from a semi-final showdown with Aryna Sabalenka.

Iga Swiatek's footwork skills are just amazing. She was pushed backwards there, leaving her scampering back and getting her feet going to reach the ball.

She has got some of the best and quickest feet I have ever seen on a court.

The first bit of emotion we've heard from the fifth seed.

  20. Postpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 3 June

    *Svitolina 1-4 Swiatek

It felt like Svitolina had her chances there. She seemed to be in the right positions, choosing the right shots, but the execution when it mattered wasn't quite there.

It's clearly rocked her a little as Swiatek quickly gets to 0-30 on the 13th seed's serve.
