    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Swiatek is bringing back the intensity and she is using all of her experience. She is staying extremely calm. She will just win ugly today.

  2. Swiatek holdspublished at 18:22 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 3-1 Lamens*

A much better game from Iga Swiatek and the world number two backs up her break of serve in the previous game to take a 3-1 lead in the deciding set.

  3. Swiatek breaks early in deciding setpublished at 18:18 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-6 2-1 Lamens

Suzan Lamens drops a volley just into the tramlines on game point so it's deuce on the Dutch player's serve.

Another game point, but Lamens throws in two double faults in a row. Seven in the match now for her. A sign of tension?

She gets a second serve in on break point but Iga Swiatek drills a backhand return cross-court and wins the game.

  4. Rublev breaks to start fourth setpublished at 18:18 British Summer Time

    Boyer 3-6 3-6 7-5 0-1 Rublev*

Andrey Rublev responds immediately by breaking serve at the start of this fourth set.

Two unforced errors gave Rublev two break points, before Tristan Boyer shanked a forehand.

  5. Postpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-2 4-6 1-1 Lamens*

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Since set one, Lamens has been playing the better tennis.

  6. Swiatek holdspublished at 18:13 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 1-1 Lamens*

Iga Swiatek's exasperation grows but an ace and an unreturnable serve from 30-30 secure a hold.

  7. Postpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-1 Lamens

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

If Lamens can remain this level, this will be a considerable result.

  8. Game and third set Boyerpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time

    Boyer 3-6 3-6 7-5 Rublev

Tristan Boyer breaks and wins the third set!

The American lets out a huge roar as he slams a backhand winner down the line.

The world number 113 was so much better in that set. He improves his service game massively, winning 100% of his first serves.

Understandably, Rublev looks a little deflated. He thought he was heading for a straight sets win, but now he needs to pick himself up for a fourth set.

    Game on!

  9. Lamens holds in first game of deciding setpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-1 Lamens

There's a different kind of pressure on Suzan Lamens now, in that she was almost out of the match at a set and a break down and she now finds herself in a deciding set against a faltering Iga Swiatek.

A win here would be by far the biggest of Lamens' career.

She holds to 15 in the first game, wrapping it up with an ace.

  10. Postpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time

    Boyer 3-6 3-6 6-5 Rublev*

Andrey Rublev looks to be in a spot of bother with Tristan Boyer looking to break to win the set, but the Russian produces a fine backhand winner and an ace to hold.

Boyer then produces his first ace of the set to win his service game and put the pressure on Rublev.

If the American can break then we'll go to a fourth set.

  11. Postpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-0 Lamens*

The players are back from their short break and Suzan Lamens of the Netherlands will serve first in the deciding set against Poland's six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek.

  12. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-0 Lamens*

Iga Swiatek and Suzan Lamens have both left the court at the end of the second set.

  13. Postpublished at 18:02 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-0 Lamens*

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

I am so shocked at how this set has unfolded.

  14. Game and second set - Lamenspublished at 18:00 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-6 0-0 Lamens*

I did not see this coming at all. Goodness me.

Iga Swiatek's level has dropped and Suzan Lamens has taken full advantage.

Swiatek twice led by a break of serve in the second set, but Lamens got them back and reeled off three straight games to level the match.

It's the first set that Swiatek has dropped in 16 sets of Grand Slam tennis.

  15. Two set points for Lamenspublished at 18:00 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-5 Lamens

Well, well, well - Iga Swiatek nets a backhand and Suzan Lamens is on the brink of levelling this second-round match...

  16. Postpublished at 17:58 British Summer Time

    Boyer 3-6 3-6 5-4 Rublev*

Andrey Rublev slices an attempted return horribly, but immediately recovers with an ace and holds on serve.

But the Russian can't break as Tristan Boyer continues to serve well in this set. On we go.

  17. Postpublished at 17:58 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-5 Lamens

Lamens is a game away from levelling this match and I wouldn't put it past her.

  18. Lamens holdspublished at 17:58 British Summer Time

    *Swiatek 6-1 4-5 Lamens

We see the good and the bad of Iga Swiatek's forehand in this game.

One return is so off line that it hits the umpire's chair. Then from 40-0 down, she lands two great winners from the forehand side.

Lamens eventually takes a 5-4 lead and Swiatek will serve to stay in the second set after the changeover.

  19. Postpublished at 17:55 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-4 Lamens*

    Abigail Johnson
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

It's almost like a role reversal here, like a panic from Swiatek.

  20. Lamens breaks straight backpublished at 17:53 British Summer Time

    Swiatek 6-1 4-4 Lamens*

Iga Swiatek sends down her first double fault of the match to fall 0-30 down on serve and, after a brief recovery, has to face a break point.

Suzan Lamens goes long with a backhand. A chance missed.

Swiatek outlasts Lamens in a lengthy rally at deuce but hang on - the Wimbledon champion's forehand costs her two consecutive points and it's another break opportunity for Lamens.

And another double fault! Wow. Swiatek hands the break back for a second time in this set.
