There's a lot of passion on court right now.

Why would you give Katie Boulter anything to work with?

    Cool as a cucumber.

While his nearest and dearest go wild in the stands, Jacob Fearnley sends back a steely stare and an iron-clenched fist.

Is that a hint of a smile? Possibly.

The US college tennis system sees matches played in boisterous atmospheres, but Fearnley told me before the tournament he remains "pretty calm" in the madness.

"I’m not too outgoing," the Texas Christian University graduate said on Friday.

"Before I went to college I was really quiet – college tennis is pretty rowdy and calls for a bit of emotion at times.

"That part of my personality and game can be out there, but I’m pretty chilled out most of the time."

    What a point!

Both players come to the net, both get lobbed but recover - Jacob Fearnley even hits a 'tweener - but Novak Djokovic gets over the line with a passing forehand winner.

    30-30.

“Allez” is the shout from Ons Jabeur’s team a few rows in front of me.

The 10th seed is hitting the ball great on court two and entertaining the crowd, as she does.

Despite her magic, she doesn’t have it all her own way as she slips before losing the point.

Harriet Dart has already served once to stay in the tournament and now has to do exactly the same again. She had one break point in that excellent 11th game but couldn't take it.

Dart needs to hold to force a 10-point tie-break.
