1. Plenty of Brits in the doublespublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 4 July

There are an incredible 14 doubles matches involving Britons today - including Jamie and Andy Murray last on Centre Court.

    Can't wait for that one.

Right now third seeds Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram of Briton and USA are leading 5-3 in their opening set against Capser Ruud of Norway and American William Blumberg on court 11.

British pair Sarah Beth Grey and Tara Moore have lost the first set to Ellen Perez and Nicole Melichar-Martinez on court nine.

And on court seven Briton Olivia Nicholls and Slovak partner Tereza Mihalikova are 4-2 up against Demi Schuurs and Luisa Stefani.

    Johanna Konta
Former British number one on BBC TV

It's a nerve-wracking day as a Brit if you're playing a fellow Brit because it presents an opportunity and it is always a little more nervy to play a compatriot.

You don't want to lose to a compatriot but you have more respect for those players who you know that much more than other people on tour.

It's a great day to be a fan.

Now this is summer. A ripper of a day in south-west London.

Clear skies, beaming sun, gentle breeze.

So you might need a sun hat if you're on the way to the All England Club.

Already left the house and on the Tube? Don't worry...

On the walk from Southfields station there are several enterprising sun hat sellers pitched up in driveways on Wimbledon Park Road.

This one is run by Tom Bucknall, who says some of the profit from "the few" straw panamas they flog on a daily basis goes to charity.

And Tom is always on hand with a long mirror for customers to make sure the lid looks the part.

A 19 minute first set. Brutal stuff from Daria Kasatkina. Hopefully, Lily Miyazaki can be more competitive in the second in front of a packed court 18.

In other news, it’s a real sun trap here. Sunburn central.

Lily Miyazaki is playing in the second round of a Grand Slam for just the second time. Her win over Tamara Korpatsch two days ago was her first ever in the main draw at Wimbledon.

The Briton is already winning this summer. Right now though, she's struggling in the sun.

Russian Daria Kasatkina, seeded 14th, takes the first set to love.

Warm applause around court 18 as Lily Miyazaki wins a couple of points on serve.

A few cries of “come on, Lily” quickly follow.

It’s tough out here for the Brit. She’s obviously nervous and Daria Kasatkina is full of confidence after her win at Eastbourne.

I’m in position on court 18 where Brit Lily Miyazaki is in action against 14th seed Daria Kasatkina.

It’s jam-packed here with Miyazaki in her first second round match.

Not the start Miyazaki and the Brits wanted as Kasatkina breaks to love.

I’m sat on the row behind Kasatkina’s team as they offer quiet encouragement to their player.

An “out” call is quickly corrected by the line judge, a good decision!
