    Fearnley 2-2 Djokovic*

Novak Djokovic benefits from a wayward Jacob Fearnley backhand, which drops just out.

But the Briton stays on the front-foot, taking the next four points to hold to 15. We stay on serve. Decent start from Fearnley.

Jessica Pegula, despite all of her talent, has never been beyond the quarter-final stage of a Grand Slam. Surely it’s got to click at some point?

Her team, sat just to my right, are offering plenty of encouragement. “Good feet. Here we go, Jess. Next point.”

    *Fearnley 1-2 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic responds with a hold of love of his own.

At the change of ends both players take some shade underneath branded Wimbledon umbrellas. It's getting desperately hot in SW19.

    *Boulter 4-3 Dart

After losing her serve in her last service game, this one proves a lot more routine for Harriet Dart, but she will have to break the Boulter serve soon if she is to keep this set alive.

Novak Djokovic has been watching videos of Jacob Fearnley's game over the past couple of days.

He hailed his all-round ability and particularly picked out the 22-year-old Scot's "big serve" for praise.

Djokovic has just experienced it for real.

A quality hold finished with a 121mph ace is rapturously received by the home crowd.

I’m waiting to take my seat on court three to watch fifth seed Jessica Pegula in action.

Turned around for a moment to take in this incredible sight; Centre Court.

Decent start from Briton Jacob Fearnley who gets a handful of first serves in, even acing on his way to a hold to love.

The Scot is on the board against one of the greatest the sport has ever seen. Must be a great feeling.

  9. Boulter two games aheadpublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 4 July

    Boulter 4-2 Dart*

Harriet Dart slips on the turf as Katie Boulter flicks a forehand winner down the line, but Dart gets to her feet and after a quick check of her trainers is able to carry on.

Boulter later gets the hold though and for the first time today there's a gap of two games in the score.

Brits on the show courts are used to full-throated support but the crowd on Court One are understandably non-committal when watching two play each other. Not many cries out for either player so far.

    *Fearnley 0-1 Djokovic

Jacob Fearnley's wearing his cap back to front, Lleyton Hewitt-style. I like it.

He takes a point on Novak Djokovic's serve by forcing the Serb to backhand into the net. But some fine winners from Djokovic soon sees the second seed cruise to a hold.

  12. Boulter gets the breakpublished at 13:40 British Summer Time 4 July

    *Boulter 3-2 Dart

We thought this would be a good contest on Court One and so it has proved.

Game four saw Harriet Dart unable to convert three break points, Katie Boulter missed one chance in game five but than crafted another opportunity and this time Dart could only send a backhand from the baseline into the net.

Off we go on Centre Court. Novak Djokovic starts with a crunching, crosscourt, forehand winner.

    He looks up for this.

Pinch yourself kid. You're walking out on Centre Court.

A memorable moment for Jacob Fearnley as he has the honour of leading the great Novak Djokovic out of the Wimbledon locker room.

The home fans roar to welcome this relatively-unknown Brit and one of the All England Club's finest champions.

Fearnley won the toss and chose to let Djokovic to serve first.

Poor Alex de Minaur. I think he's spoken in equal amount as being a tennis player and Katie Boulter's boyfriend.

I feel for him bless him. He's through to the third round and is number nine seed.

Katie Boulter has struggled a bit more with the forehand side when she is pushed and it comes fast into her racket.

She doesn't like it, can often play it quite late. It has been a huge improvement in her game but it's still something that she can struggle with.

  18. Boulter saves three break point to holdpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 4 July

    Boulter 2-2 Dart*

That's an excellent hold from Katie Boulter, who was under sustained pressure from Harriet Dart as she had to fend off three break points.

Chances missed for Dart, but, just about, we're still on serve.

Boulter saved the second break point, but now faces a third. She had been at the net and looked in prime position to put away a winner only for her to hit it too close to Dart, who took advantage.
