A break here and Ben Shelton takes the third set. Who saw that coming after the way the first two played out?

Shelton is sent to the back wall twice to try and retrieve a Jannik Sinner slam - twice Shelton hooks it high into the sky, approaching the Court One roof before he finally folds. 15-0.

Shelton on the board with a fine backhand slice down the line.

At the moment Sun is playing with so much freedom, assertively, aggressively and so much positive reinforcement even if she gets it wrong.

Not often you get to come out onto a beautiful Centre Court and play with so much freedom

    Honestly, the weather today...

Play had resumed on the outside courts, but guess what? It's raining again.

The covers come back on, although it doesn't seem to be that heavy as there aren't many brollies going up in the stands.

    *Sun 5-2 Raducanu

Emma Raducanu saves herself again with a big first serve but then hammers into the net and Lulu Sun is let back in again.

This time there's no big serve to save the Briton and Sun takes advantage of a couple of loose shots, eventually taking the break.

She will serve for the first set.

Ben Shelton HAS to stop Jannik Sinner from winning a fourth game in succession here or this set, the match and a place in the quarter-finals may just pass him by.

Shelton leads 40-15 but can't deliver with the serve and volley. 40-30. It's getting tense.

A big reaction from Shelton as he takes the game.

Wow, a huge 135mph second serve was just about batted away by Jannik Sinner before it slammed right into his stomach.

    That would have hurt!

Raducanu needs to wake up here and be a bit more aggressive and fleeter of foot. She's not getting to anything at the moment. A match like this could get away from her before long.

    Sun 4-2 Raducanu*

Oh dear. Emma Raducanu thinks she has an ace and was celebrating and making her way back to her chair thinking she had secured the hold. But it was in fact a let and she hadn't heard the beep.

That seems to have thrown her off somewhat and suddenly Lulu Sun has a break point.

Emma Raducanu still struggling a little playing against lefty Lulu Sun.

    Sun 4-2 Raducanu*

It looks like Emma Raducanu isn't going to get any joy on the Lulu Sun serve this time but then the New Zealand qualifier double faults to give the Brit an opening.

Sun's wide forehand closes the gap further but a looping long forehand from Raducanu wraps up the hold to 30.

The pressure told, as it does so many times in tennis.

We’re back on serve in the third set with the momentum swinging back towards the world number one.

First real sign of emotion from Jannik Sinner as he fist pumps.

Ben Shelton started this third set so strongly but staying consistent against someone of Jannik Sinner's quality is not easy.

Sinner always stays on top of you. He has three attempts at break point here and the chance to make this set very interesting.

Shelton aces to save the first but Sinner takes it on the next.

    Momentum shifter?

One break of serve was enough for Jannik Sinner to get the job done in set two, will it be enough for Ben Shelton in this third?

Well, I'm sure he'd like another for comfort.

He won't be getting it here as Sinner holds to 15 and stays within touching distance.
