Sun 6-2 5-7 3-1 Raducanu*
Emma Raducanu's forehand is long and there's the hold for Lulu Sun.
She has been brilliant here and she maintains that break advantage.
*Sun 6-2 5-7 2-1 Raducanu
Emma Raducanu forces Lulu Sun long and she creeps ahead to 15-30.
But a wayward backhand passing shot goes wide then Sun uses that serve and forehand that has given her so much joy in this match to move to game point.

That hold was so important for Emma Raducanu. Her first serve getting her out of trouble.
You have to stay in touch and keep that scoreboard pressure on.

Mark: That's a real shame for Grigor Dimitrov. And he's been playing so well, this season.
Dimitrov 3-5 Medvedev
Another injury on Court One and unfortunately Grigor Dimitrov is unable to continue, meaning fifth seed Daniil Medvedev is through to the quarter-finals.
Dimitrov, the Bulgarian 10th seed, started well and raced into a 3-0 in the first set.
Medvedev broke back before Dimitrov slipped and appeared to injure himself.
He kept going for a couple of games before taking a medical timeout and, although he did briefly return to the court, it quickly became apparent that he was not going to be able to compete.
A sad end for Dimitrov but Medvedev advances to face top seed Jannik Sinner in the quarters.
*Sun 6-2 5-7 2-1 Raducanu
Lulu Sun dispatches another one of those powerful forehands to the baseline for 15-30.
Emma Raducanu moves to game point with a big serve and closes it out with an ace.
A sigh of relief as she gets on the board in this deciding set.

Lulu Sun is pushing Emma Raducanu to go to a defensive sliced forehand.
Raducanu is just looking a little uncomfortable for the first time. A bit of panic setting in, I think.

Emma needs to just get through 1 game and she should be back on rhythm..
Anon.

At the end of the second game, like she did at the change of ends, Raducanu goes to clutch her back.
Can she get through the pain and somehow get that break back?

Sun’s positioning and ball striking has continued to be impressive and it is a brilliant response after that disappointing end to the second set for her.
Sun 6-2 5-7 2-0 Raducanu*
Aggression in the rallies paying off for Lulu Sun.
She moves to game point then places a lovely cross-court backhand on the line to consolidate that break with a hold.

All eyes on Raducanu as the players change ends.
She gently raises her hand but thankfully it doesn’t mean the worst.
I think it was a stretch. Phew.
She’s moving reasonably fine during the points but there is an air of apprehension around Centre Court now.

Matt: Emma is leaving balls way too short and allowing Sun to get the first strike in almost every rally. It won't cut it at this level, regardless of who she is playing. She needs more depth and has to play closer to the baseline and get that first strike in.
Badosa 2-6 6-1 4-6 Vekic
While the crowd on Centre Court hold their breath, over on court two, her potential quarter-final opponent has been confirmed.
Croatia's Donna Vekic has beaten Paula Badosa in three sets to make it through to the last eight at SW19 for the first time.
In a match that swung one way then the other, Vekic swiftly took the first set before former world number two Badosa hit back in the second.
The third set was much tighter but Vekic claimed the decisive break to clinch one of the biggest wins of her career to date.
*Sun 6-2 5-7 1-0 Raducanu
The crowd were so up for it after that second set but it's all gone a bit flat again since the medical timeout and now that break of serve.
Raducanu will have to try and get them back on side and up for this.
*Sun 6-2 5-7 1-0 Raducanu
Emma Raducanu nudges into the net and there's the break at the earliest opportunity for Lulu Sun.
Sun 6-2 5-7 0-0 Raducanu*
Well Lulu Sun has maintained her level despite the disruption and she brings up a break point immediately.

Emma needs to take pace off, the harder she hits the ball the instinctive Lulu returns effortlessly. This injury may cause a drop in pace and who knows. It’s been a strange match so far!

Encouraging news. Emma Raducanu is back on her feet.
A throaty cheer greets the sight of the British wildcard getting up off the court and being ready to play.
