    Alcaraz 0-0 Djokovic*

Carlos Alcaraz is eager to put the pressure on to Novak Djokovic, sprinting to the net and forcing the 24-time Grand Slam champion to go for a lob, but long it goes. Deuce again.

But not for long, another dance forwards, a backhand placed perfectly and that's a third break point for the Spaniard.

    Alcaraz 0-0 Djokovic*

Brilliant from Alcaraz, the Djokovic serve is out wide but a flash of a racquet and the ball whips past the Serb on to the line and away for a second break point.

But as soon as it's on the table, it's off again with a fine first serve forcing Alcaraz to return long. Deuce again. An eight-minute opening game already.

A sign of things to come?

He's got a break point straight away after Djokovic, at full stretch, can only get his racquet to an Alcaraz blaster with the ball heading in the direction of the front row.

Carlos Alcaraz has been far from convincing at this year's Championships.

Yet, he somehow finds himself in a second straight Wimbledon final.

Former British number one Tim Henman said it's Alcaraz's "amazing ability" of "finding solutions and finding the way to be better than one person which is your opponent" that has gotten him so far.

"There is room for improvement and that is what makes him so special at the age of 21," Henman added

"The consistency of the performance - we know when Alcaraz is firing on all cylinders, but there are times when he loses concentration.

"He doesn’t always make the best choices, but he is learning all the time even though he lost the first set [in the semi-finals] there is no panic."

I think returning first lets you settle the nerves a little bit and if the other person is feeling a little bit tight then you might get some opportunities.

That’s unusual for a grass court, Alcaraz choosing to receive. I never ever ever wanted to receive first. Ever.

I tried to rile Djokovic up every time. Against Novak you have to serve and volley. You have to serve well and keep the first serve percentage above 50.

Novak will try and crush and find good depth on the backhand exchange. That's how I think he'll get on top today.
