It would've been one of the greatest achievements in sport, and still would be, if Djokovic wins these championships. Not looking likely at the moment.

It gets a good few giggles, but there's no putting the defending champion off at the moment.

It's really weird to see Novak not showing any expressions, whether it's anger or... it's just weird because there are shots he wouldn't usually be missing in the final of a Grand Slam.

Djokovic is more experienced than perhaps any other player and he'll be looking to put this behind him. It was an uncomfortable start.

After a mammoth 14-minute game, you wouldn't have expected the whole set to be done at the 41-minute mark.

Carlos Alcaraz has been absolutely flawless, earning a double break and holding his serve with Djokovic, rather stunned, only netting on the Spaniard's second set point.

A great response from Djokovic, finding the line with Alcaraz only able to send the ball into the bottom of the net.

Alcaraz just believes in himself and he loves the sport more than anyone else. He always has a huge smile on his face whenever I see him. I think Novak knows that if you are to win some slams then you have to go through Alcaraz now.

No issues for Novak Djokovic in that service game to double the amount of games he has won.

Now comes Alcaraz's first chance to serve out the set. Even if he can't take it, he'd potentially have another go later on.

There have been no proper big leaps for joy on Henman Hill yet, even after Carlos Alcaraz secured his double break.

I guess with everyone packed so tightly together, you're probably not guaranteed room to sit back down once you jump up.

Better save the standing ovations for the really big moments deep into this match.

The first set won't determine how the match ends but I do think Djokovic needs to start putting more power on his groundstrokes to take advantage of points when Alcaraz is missing.

We thought Alcaraz would have to improve his first serve after serving at under 50% in the semi-final. It's now at around 75% and that is crucial if you want to have success against Novak.

Novak Djokovic was unable to take the one chance he had crafted and we soon return to what we have seen for most of the previos half an hour.

Alcaraz holds and needs just one more game to wrap up the set.

A leaping drop shot from deep from Carlos Alcaraz comes up just short and for the first time today, Novak Djokovic is looking at a break point.

Not for long though. A great first serve from Alcaraz followed by a charge to the net, forces Djokovic to try something special. He tries a lob out wide, but off target it goes. Deuce.
