Dick Greenwood: Ex-England coach joins Wales RL board

Former England rugby union coach Dick Greenwood has joined Wales Rugby League's (WRL) board of directors.

Greenwood is the father of 2003 England union World Cup winner Will., external

The appointment to a board chaired by Brian Juliff comes amid a Wales RL restructure that includes it becoming a limited company.

Dick Greenwood lives in north Wales, has coached Rhyl and Prestatyn Panthers since 2011 and is a member of the WRL north Wales management group.

He captained England once in a five-cap Test career that ended in 1969 and went on to coach England from 1983-85.
