  4. 'French rugby crisis'published at 18:56 British Summer Time 7 April 2015

Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio believes the success of French clubs in Europe is coming to the detriment of the country's national team.

French side Clermont thrashed Premiership champions and runaway leaders Northampton Saints 37-5 to reach the European Rugby Champions Cup semi-finals along with fellow Top 14 side Toulon. Saracens are England's only representatives in the last four.

"I'd argue that what we're seeing is a crisis in French rugby. I see players who are outstanding for their clubs - guys like Wesley Fofana and Maxime Machenaud - not playing well for France," says Dallaglio.

"There is something going dramatically wrong in French rugby because while they're happy to attract the biggest and best foreign names to their club game, they're doing so at the expense of their national side."

"QPR had a really convincing win over West Brom at the weekend and they're looking strong at the moment.

"I think they've got a team that's capable of getting out of it. It's going to be tight but I think they've got a big chance tonight at Villa Park.

"The pressure really is on Villa at home. It's going to be a tense night for them. QPR are going to be full of confidence."
