Commonwealth Games 2014: Zoe Smith in weightlifting squad

Commonwealth and European bronze medallist Zoe Smith and 15-year-old Rebekah Tiler have been named in England's weightlifting and powerlifting squad for Glasgow 2014.

Smith, who became England's first female Commonwealth Games medallist at Delhi 2010, returns from injury.

"I'm definitely aiming to improve on my bronze," said the 20-year-old.

British record holder Jack Oliver and Paralympic world record holder Ali Jawad have also been included.

Team England chef de mission Jan Paterson said: "This is a relatively young squad, but it's certainly not lacking in experience."

England squad: Natalie Blake (lightweight powerlifting), Ali Jawad (lightweight powerlifting), Joanne Calvino (48kg), Zoe Smith (58kg), Emily Godley (63kg), Sarah Davies (63kg) Rebekah Tiler (69kg), Mercy Brown (75kg), Jaswant Shergill (62kg), Christopher Freebury (69kg), Shaun Clegg (77kg), Jack Oliver (77kg), Bradley Burrowes (85kg), Owen Boxall (94kg), Sonny Webster (94kg), Ben Watson (105kg).
