The mother of a man murdered a year ago has appealed for help to find those responsible for his death.

Ben Daly, 30, died in hospital after he was found with a gunshot wound in Ranelagh Terrace, Leamington Spa, in August 2023.

His mum, Dot, described her son as "fun-loving person" who always "liked to be out with his daughter and friends".

Warwickshire Police said inquiries into his death were ongoing and Mr Daly's family deserved for those responsible to be brought to justice.

"Don’t hide these people, they need to pay for what they’ve done so we can get justice for Ben," his mum said.

"I try and put it out my head because it hurts so much. I hope he’s going to come back but I know he’s not going to," she continued.

Charity Crimestoppers launched an appeal for help in March, and urged people to contact them if they knew the locations of three men police wanted to speak to.

Kevin Vucini, 25, Brigen Carrica - sometimes spelt Qarrica - 21, and Rrezon Cengu, 22, were urgently wanted, the charity said.

Hundreds of hours of CCTV footage have been viewed during the investigation and numerous witnesses had been spoken to, police added.

"Dot and all of Ben’s family deserve for those responsible for his death to be brought to justice," Det Supt Teresa McKenna said.
