Danger driving arrest after pedestrian, 72, killed

The family of a woman who was struck by car and killed have described her loss as "unbearable" after a driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Lin Donnelly was struck by a blue Ford Focus on Brewster Street in Kirkdale, Liverpool, at about 19:45 GMT on Thursday, Merseyside Police said.
The 72-year-old was taken to hospital where she later died.
In a tribute, her family said: "Words can't describe the pain in our hearts at the unbearable loss of you. Our life will never be the same without you."
A 46-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
