Business Secretary Vince Cable: 'Economy will continue to grow'

Business Secretary Vince Cable has said the government has every confidence that the economy will continue to grow as business leaders gather in London for their annual CBI (Confederation of British Industry) conference.

However he warned the recovery would be difficult after the massive shock sustained by the British and world economies.

Prime Minister David Cameron is expected to try to move the political debate away from spending cuts to economic growth in his conference address.
