Public sector strike: Impact on airline industry

A strike by public sector workers, including the UK Border Agency (UKBA) could have a significant effect on airlines, an industry expert has warned.

JLS Airlines Analyst, John Strickland, says companies could lose money through passengers changing flights, in order to avoid potential queues at immigration.

Mr Strickland also warns that if a backlog builds up, through delays in passengers disembarking from planes, it could have a domino effect.
