Petrol prices: OFT to publish fuel market findings

The outcome of an inquiry into petrol and diesel prices will be published by the Office of Fair Trading on Wednesday following accusations that there is a lack of competition in the market.

Last year, the AA said cheaper wholesale costs were not being reflected at the pump.

The OFT is due to publish its initial findings, and announce whether it is going to launch a full investigation. Emma Simpson reports.
