With many Middle Eastern economies in turmoil, and doom and gloom across much of Europe, Turkey seems to be bucking the trend.

The country has seen its credit rating upgraded, a move that the government said was delayed recognition of its successful economic performance.

But with its neighbours in crisis, can the good times last?
