Shadow minister: Jobs market 'incredibly fragile'

UK unemployment has fallen by 5,000, according to new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Its data indicated 2.51 million people were out of work in the three months to April. The jobless rate was unchanged from three months earlier, at 7.8%.

But shadow employment minister Liam Byrne said that the jobs market was "incredibly fragile" and urged the government to take "bolder measures" to get people back into work.
