Thailand looks to repeat 'Thaksinomics' economic success
In Thailand, the election of Thaksin Shinawatra 13 years ago ushered in a period of economic success.
Thaksinomics saw projects such as a micro credit scheme to help small businesses, and the promotion of local products outside the big cities.
His party, now headed by his sister, was re-elected two years ago.
But, as Jonathan Head reports from Bangkok, her version of Thaksinomics is proving less successful.
