George Osborne rejects housing bubble fears

Chancellor George Osborne has rejected the idea that the UK faces a home market bubble, saying that "we are a long way from a housing boom".

His comments came as it emerged that house prices in England have reached a record high, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
