How do you run a business in an unstable region?

Lebanese restaurateur Christine Sfeir has been telling the BBC about running a business in Lebanon - a country which remains politically unstable after its own wars and the conflict in neighbouring Syria.

Ms Sfeir started out by setting up a franchise of a US company and says, "When you're 22, you don't think that there's a possibility of failure... so I just did it."

However, she now hopes to expand her Semsom restaurant chain into other countries to provide greater security in the future: "To be able to sustain from a business perspective you need some stability, you need to be able to make long-term plans - we only make plans for next month!"
