Labour unconvinced by infrastructure 'grand plans'
Labour has warned that Government plans to stimulate the economy with infrastructure spending will not make a difference because the Coalition's previous "failure to deliver."
The plans include investing £375bn in energy, transport, communications, and water, and selling off the government's 40% stake in Eurostar.
The Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander, insists companies now want to invest in Britain - but his Labour shadow, Chris Leslie, is unconvinced.
Mr Leslie told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "We get lots of grand plans every six months or so from Danny Alexander and from the government - but a total failure to deliver."
