China is 'still a good bet' says Fortescue's Forrest

Despite signs that China is experiencing an economic slowdown, the country is "still a good bet" with growth rates that would be the envy of developed economies, the chairman of Fortescue Metals Group Andrew Forrest has told BBC HARDtalk.

Over 90% of the company's iron ore exports go to China.

The company's latest profits report suggested profits down more than 80%, but the billionaire mining magnate Mr Forrest says he still feels "comfortable" with the company's position.
