Heading to a road near you: Driverless cars

In the race for driverless car technology, Chinese companies are taking big strides. Just ahead of the Beijing Motor Show, two cars from Chinese vehicle maker Changan completed a route from its headquarters to Beijing - more than 2,000km (1,240 miles).

The BBC's Stephen McDonell went to the show to speak to Li Yusheng of Changan Automobile and to take a look around.
