Fruit farmers facing migrant labour shortages
It's mid-summer and the strawberry picking season is underway in Britain. Most of the fruit pickers there come from Eastern Europe.
But, according to a BBC survey, more than half the UK's summer fruit and salad growers say they do not know if they will have enough migrant workers to harvest their crops this year.
And many farmers are worried about immigration curbs being introduced after Brexit.
Seven out of 10 soft fruit and salad growers surveyed said they would consider cutting UK production if there were restrictions on seasonal workers.
