Ofsted report: Schools need 'period of calm' - head teacher

Ofsted is warning that too many secondary schools in England are not making sufficient progress, with almost a third judged not to be good enough.

Chief inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw will deliver the message that secondary schools have "stalled", in the education watchdog's annual report.

Head teacher Ian Fenn appealed for "a period of calm", blaming changes to the curriculum and exams for the lack of improvement.

He spoke to BBC Breakfast alongside executive head teacher Patsy Kane about Ofsted's findings.
