David Cameron: 'Labour's non-dom plans are in chaos'

David Cameron has described Labour's plans to abolish non-domicile status as "chaotic". The status allows some wealthy UK residents to limit tax paid on earnings made outside the country.

However, it has been revealed that Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls told an interviewer in January that the plans could cost Britain money if people left the country.

The prime minister said it raised the question of whether Labour would be able to run the economy.

He also spoke about Conservative plans for failing primary school pupils to resit Sats test in secondary school.

Mr Cameron said resitting the Sats would allow children to get basic skills.
