Harry Styles: David Bowie 'can do no wrong'

Rock legend David Bowie has been named best British male at the Brit Awards in London, while Arctic Monkeys won both best group and best album for the third time.

Model Kate Moss accepted the prize on Bowie's behalf, reading out a speech written by the rock star that urged Scottish voters to reject independence in September's referendum.

Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner told the BBC's Colin Paterson that if a musician "feels strongly" about a political issue they should be allowed to speak out about it in public.

Harry Styles from One Direction described David Bowie as "a legend".

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Thursday 20 February.
