Fifty years since Radio Caroline

Radio Caroline is celebrating its 50th anniversary as the pirate radio station that changed the face of British broadcasting.

With the words "This is Radio Caroline on 199", came the UK's first commercial station, with pop music on the airwaves for the first time.

Tim Muffet has been on board a ship in Liverpool which is re-living the station's heyday as part of the celebrations.
