Private clinics 'should offer PIP implant removal'

Women given PIP breast implants should be able to have them removed by whoever fitted them, according to the government.

Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said private clinics had a moral duty to look after their patients if they were worried about their PIP implants.

NHS patients will be able to have them removed free of charge.
