Age UK: Social care system failing the elderly

Hundreds of thousands of older people in England who need social care are being left "high and dry" because of a lack of funding and services, according to the charity Age UK.

In a report, it says the number of people over 65 receiving help from their local authority has fallen by more than 150,000 in three years.
