Half of people will get cancer, figures suggest

Half of all people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives, according to new figures.

Cancer Research UK warns that more must be done to prevent cancer and improve early diagnosis.

It said longer life expectancies meant more people would be affected.
