End-of-life care for terminally ill 'needs major overhaul'

More than 100,000 people every year in the UK do not get the care and support they need towards the end of their lives, according to a new report.

London School of Economics researchers say the palliative care system for patients with terminal illnesses is inadequate and needs a major overhaul to meet growing demand.
