Regional divide in smoking during pregnancy

There are big regional differences in the proportion of women smoking during pregnancy, according to a new report, which says rates are much higher in poorer areas.

The study, by an alliance of 20 health organisations, calls for women who smoke to be automatically referred to specialist services.
