Obesity in women a 'growing health catastrophe'

Obesity is the biggest threat to women's health, and tackling it should be treated as a national priority, according to England's chief medical officer, Dame Sally Davies,

The report suggests that in England more than 56% of women aged between 34 and 44 were classified as obese or overweight in 2013.

There are 17 recommendations for improving female health, including for pregnant women, and also around taboo issues, such as the menopause and female incontinence.
