Remains of Jamestown's English leaders identified

Scientists have identified the remains of four men who were among the early leaders of Virginia's Jamestown settlement - the first successful British colony that gave rise to modern day America.

The bones were so badly preserved that it has taken almost two years to work out to whom they belonged.

It's now known that the men were key figures between 1607 and 1610 when the colony almost collapsed.
