Beach litter 'increasing', says Marine Conservation Society
The amount of rubbish along the British coastline is increasing every year according to the Marine Conservation Society (MCS).
Latest figures showed beaches in Northern Ireland had the highest rubbish density, with beaches in the Channel Islands having the biggest decrease in dropped litter.
The MCS has planned a big beach clean up, and volunteers interested in taking part can register on the organisation's website.
