Snake anti-venom supplies 'running out'

One of the most effective types of anti-venom for treating snake bites is about to run out, which could lead to many deaths.

It is estimated around 100,000 people die as a result of snake bites every year.

Many of the victims are people, often children, living in the rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa.

Tulip Mazumdar reports from a snake venom research facility in Liverpool.
