Ford reveals driverless taxi plan
Ford has promised it will have a mass-produced self-driving car on the road by 2021 - one that will not have a steering wheel.
The company says you will be able to hail the car like a taxi without a human driver.
To achieve its ambitious goal, the company has invested $75m (£57.5m) in Lidar (light detection and ranging) sensor technology Lidar.
The BBC's North America technology reporter Dave Lee spoke to Ford's president Mark Fields.
