'The government has no plan' for jobs says Labour

Shadow Business Secretary Pat McFadden has given his reaction to Vince Cable's Lib Dem conference speech.

Mr McFadden said the government lacked a plan for employment but agreed with the business secretary's attack on greed and excess in the banking sector.

During his conference speech, Vince Cable said he wanted action taken against what he called "the spivs and gamblers" in the city.
