Moorland prison riot blamed on tensions between staff and inmates

Inspectors at a jail in Doncaster have blamed the poor relationship between staff and prisoners for three nights of rioting in November 2010.

Moorland Prison holds more than 400 men and young offenders, and more than a third of inmates questioned by inspectors felt threatened and intimidated by staff.
