Jonathan May-Bowles admits Rupert Murdoch pie assault

The man accused of throwing a plate of shaving foam at Rupert Murdoch as he gave evidence to MPs has been convicted of assault and causing harassment.

Jonathan May-Bowles admitted the charges when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday morning.

Speaking to reporters afterwards, he echoed Rupert Murdoch's words "I just want to say this is the most humble day of my life".
