'Inaccurate reporting hindered search for Madeleine'

The parents of Madeleine McCann have told the Leveson Inquiry that press reports about the disappearance of their daughter impeded the search for her.

Kate McCann said they were desperate for help, but that incorrect reports that Madeleine was dead meant that people would stop searching for her.
