George Osborne: Working people are Budget priority

Chancellor George Osborne has insisted that the priority in Wednesday's Budget will be to help low and middle income earners.

Speaking to the BBC's Andrew Marr, Mr Osborne said "the bulk" of measures in his economic plans would be targeted to help working people and families.

He added that it would be a "coalition Budget", which he claimed would "satisfy a broad range of public opinion".

James Landale reports.
