London 2012: 'I'll sell Olympic torch despite hoax'

An Olympic torchbearer who sold her torch on an online auction site for £153,000 says that she now believes that the top bid was a hoax.

But, Sarah Milner Simonds, of Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset, says she is still determined to sell the memento to raise money for charitable purposes.

The Olympic flame is being carried by 8,000 people during its 70-day tour of the UK.

London 2012 say torchbearers can do what they like with their torches once their part in the relay is over.
