G4S boss Buckles insists he is 'right man for job'
The chief executive of G4S has admitted his company's failure to provide enough security staff for the Olympics has been a humiliating shambles.
Nick Buckles has told MPs he was deeply sorry and disappointed but he insists he is still the right man to lead the company.
A total of 3,500 troops have had to be deployed to cover the shortfall.
Police officers are also being drafted in to fill gaps left after G4S failed to meet its targets but the London 2012 chairman Lord Coe insists there will be no compromise on security.
