The godmother of missing five-year-old April Jones has described her as a loveable girl who is always smiling.

Speaking to the BBC, Mair Raftree also praised the community's response to the child's disappearance and thanked those involved in the search.

April vanished from Machynlleth in mid Wales at 19:00 BST on Monday.
